Tamika Poetzsch is a Brampton based actor, who has performed with numerous groups around the GTA. A self-proclaimed jack-of-all-trades, she is always willing to try something new, and loves the skills and friends she gains along the way.
Tamika received her BFA in Theatre Performance from Laurentian University, with special training in clown and Shakespeare, and has recently begun taking improv classes with Toronto’s Second City. With a flair for the comedic, Tamika is happiest when people are laughing; but isn’t afraid to make them cry.
Currently working with Brampton’s Own Shakespeare Show for their 2024 production, Tamika is excited to be able to bring Shakespeare to people in a way that is both relatable and accessible, and is honoured to be a part of the growing arts scene in Brampton, the place she credits with her theatre roots.
